Hanbury Neighbourhood Plan

Neighbourhood Area Application - Approved 14 October 2014

Wychavon District Council received an application for the designation of a Neighbourhood Area by Hanbury Parish Council on Tuesday 22 April 2014. The six week consultation ran from Monday 9 June until Monday 21 July 2014, and no objections were raised on the proposed neighbourhood area boundary. The Neighbourhood Area was subsequently approved by Executive Board on 14 October 2014.

Honeybourne Neighbourhood Plan

Honeybourne Neighbourhood Plan ‘Made’ (Adopted) - 30 April 2020

At its Council meeting on 30 April 2020, Wychavon District Council 'made' (adopted) the Honeybourne Neighbourhood Plan; it now forms part of the Development Plan for Wychavon District. The adopted Honeybourne Neighbourhood Plan and Decision Document can be viewed using the links below:

Successful Referendum - 5 March 2020

A Referendum on the Honeybourne Neighbourhood Plan was held on Thursday 5 March 2020. There was a 28% turnout, with 89.5% voting in favour of Wychavon using the Neighbourhood Plan for Honeybourne to help it decide planning applications in the Neighbourhood Area.

Following the examination of the Honeybourne Neighbourhood Plan earlier on in the year, the Independent Examiner's recommended modifications have been agreed as detailed in the Decision Statement

A Referendum will be held on Thursday 5 March 2020 to ask voters "Do you want Wychavon District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Honeybourne to help it decide planning applications in the Neighbourhood Area?"

Wychavon District Council have appointed Christopher Collison of Planning and Management Limited to undertake the independent examination of the Honeybourne Neighbourhood Plan.

Submitted Neighbourhood Plan Consultation - 23 August to 7 October 2019

Under Regulation 15 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012, Honeybourne Parish Council submitted its Neighbourhood Plan to Wychavon District Council on 19 August 2019. In accordance with Regulation 16, a public consultation was held from Friday 23 August to 5pm Monday 7 October 2019, during which interested parties were invited to make comments on the Honeybourne Parish Neighbourhood Plan.

Neighbourhood Area Application - Approved 25 September 2015

Wychavon District Council received an application for the designation of a Neighbourhood Area by Honeybourne Parish Council on Wednesday 12 August 2015. The four week consultation ran from Monday 17 August until Monday 14 September 2015, and no objections were raised on the proposed neighbourhood area boundary. The Neighbourhood Area was subsequently approved by Gary Williams, Head of Planning and Infrastructure Services and Councillor Rob Adams, Portfolio Holder for Planning Policy on 25 September 2015.

Inkberrow Neighbourhood Plan

Neighbourhood Area Application - Approved 10 May 2018

Wychavon District Council received an application for the designation of a Neighbourhood Area by Inkberrow Parish Council on 2 May 2018. The application followed the parish boundary where no designation already existed. The Neighbourhood Area was therefore approved by Gary Williams, Head of Planning and Infrastructure Services in consultation with Councillor Bradley Thomas, Portfolio Holder for Planning, Transport and Infrastructure on 10 May 2018.

Successful Referendum - 16 March 2017

A Referendum on the North Claines Neighbourhood Plan was held on Thursday 16 March 2017. There was a 20.9% turn out, with 85.2% voting in favour of Wychavon using the Neighbourhood Plan for North Claines to help it decide planning applications in the Neighbourhood Area.

Following the examination of the North Claines Neighbourhood Plan last year, the Independent Examiner's recommended modifications have been agreed as detailed in the Decision Statement.

Examiner's Report Received - 15 November 2016

Wychavon District Council appointed Dr Louise Brooke-Smith as independent examiner of the North Claines Neighbourhood Plan. She conducted the examination through consideration of written representations.

The examiner's report has now been received and concludes that the North Claines Neighbourhood Plan, subject to minor modifications, meets the Basic Conditions and can proceed to referendum.

Submitted Neighbourhood Plan Consultation - 4 July to 15 August 2016

Under Regulation 15 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012, North Claines Parish Council submitted its Neighbourhood Plan to Wychavon District Council. In accordance with Regulation 16, a six week public consultation ran from Monday 4 July until Monday 15 August 2016 during which interested parties were invited to make comments on the North Claines Neighbourhood Plan. Please note that the initial consultation that ran from Wednesday 6 May until Wednesday 17 June 2016 did not fully conform with the Regulations, so the consultation was restarted to ensure the Basic Conditions are met, however all comments made to the initial consultation were carried forward.

A Referendum on the Norton-juxta-Kempsey Neighbourhood Plan was held on Thursday 28 October 2021. There was a 15.4% turnout, with 86% voting in favour of Wychavon using the Neighbourhood Plan for Norton-juxta-Kempsey to help it decide planning applications in the Neighbourhood Area.

Submitted Neighbourhood Plan Consultation - 21 May to 2 July 2021

Under Regulation 15 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012, Norton-juxta-Kempsey Parish Council submitted its Neighbourhood Plan to Wychavon District Council on 14 April 2021. In accordance with Regulation 16, a public consultation is being held from Friday 21 May to 5pm on Friday 2 July 2021, during which interested parties were invited to make comments on the submitted Norton-juxta-Kempsey Parish Neighbourhood Plan.

Norton-juxta-Kempsey Parish Council undertook consultation on an earlier draft of their Neighbourhood Plan in October and November 2020. Comments made during this period helped inform changes made to the document submitted to Wychavon District Council. The Neighbourhood Plan proposes a number of policies on the built and natural landscape, getting around, community facilities, employment and housing. 

It was the responsibility of Wychavon District Council to collate all responses to the Regulation 16 consultation and pass them on to an independent examiner, who will assess them and the Neighbourhood Plan documents to determine whether the Neighbourhood Plan meets the relevant legislation and should proceed to a Referendum.

The application followed the parish boundary where no designation already existed.
