Pershore will welcome hundreds of motorbikes this Thursday 22 August at the popular Pershore Plum Festival Bike Nite.
Bike Nite kicks off the town’s much-loved Plum Festival which returns this bank holiday weekend with a showcase of plums, cookery and gardening demonstrations, classic cars, live music, and a fairground.
Bikes and their riders will arrive in Pershore for a huge gathering of people celebrating the local fruit. There will also be live music from The Offshore along with plum food and plum drink. Visitors are encouraged to wear or accessorise in purple to celebrate the local plum.
Angela Taylor, Chair of the Pershore Plum Festival, said: “This event is one that locals look forward to supporting. It is one of many events that make up the Pershore Plum Festival including the Big Plum Quiz Night on Friday 23 August and the Big Plum Cider Festival on Saturday 24 August, ending with the Big Plum Weekend over the bank holiday weekend. This is going to be the best one yet!”
